Living in a noisy and activist culture, which continues to move us
further and further from God is a serious challenge for the
believer. Many times we find it hard to live in contact with God in
the midst of so many activities and distractions. That is why the
need for silence is felt with urgency: we need to have moments
of deep and active silence, when we can listen to the voice of
God and to our own voice. In this silence, we can meditate in
prayer and receive fundamental answers for our lives and in
different ways have a profound prayer life.

Spiritual Exercises are an important tradition in the Church as a
privileged way of having an intense time of silence, reflection and
prayer. The Sodalit Spiritual Exercises consist of a group of
meditations based on the spirituality of the Sodalitum
Christianae Vitae and developed as a renewal of continuity in the
Catholic spiritual tradition.

mastery as the positive integration of all our being; along with
the Spirituality of Action, that seeks to inform our activity with

in our daily life. This retreat will focus on integrating silence into
our active daily lives.
